Ailin Rochford followed up seconds later with a good effort after the ball broke from a corner kick. Clodiagh Rangers created the first incision seconds later, however Brian Nolan got back to put in a well timed tackle before Eimear Carey got in on the act to tidy up. The hosts stretched it to three nil a minute later when Cillian Kennedy struck a long range effort to the roof of the net. Andy Kinnane was denied his hat-trick when a drive from outside the box appeared to be over the line, however the Clodigah shot stopper smothered the ball on the second attempt. Ellie Kennedy was in the action late in the half with a lefl legged volley which was blocked on the line. The Slieve Felim side pressed again after the restart as Andy Kinnane crossed to Brian Nolan, however the headed effort was wide of the target.
